Oceania,
Today I thought I might remind some of you of a book not often mentioned. "The Theory and Practice of Oligarchical Collectivism", or as I hear it called, "the book", is a book I wrote many years ago regarding Oceania and its tenets. Whether the Party will find and censor my discussion of this book, I don't know, but I assume they will allow it for the sake of having further reason to antagonize me. I found the book while moving some of my belongings and reread it, finding that it has gained reliability since it was penned.
On the news, war is portrayed as if there is an end in sight and victory is upon us. But how long has it been this way? Can any one of us truly describe what the war even is? Or more accurately, what it has become? War without an end lacks sobering danger and consequence. It keeps us in the dark about the world beyond what the Party has made it to be.
We are kept unaware by not being shown there is better way. I remember my time in the Inner Party and the control I used to have. Believe me, everything you are forced to accept as a 'normal' does not have to be what you live with. Unaware that our world could be —should be— better, our ignorance keeps Big Brother in power. Sound familiar?
Comrades, I urge you to hear me. Find a copy of my book. I know they are kept in circulation. Read what I wrote. If you still hate my truth the same, at least you will have read it. Someone will one day agree and then we may be saved. Stay safe and be careful who you trust.
